About the river Ebro...

The river Ebro is the longest river in Spain, flowing from
its source in the Cantabrian Mountains down to the distant
Mediterranean.

The very name of the Iberian Peninsula comes from
this river – Iberia, the country of the Ebro.


This incredible, unspoiled and untamed river boasts an array
of wildlife and fish species that cater for all kinds of angler from
the specialist big fish hunter to the general pleasure fisherman.

Hacienda Angling's bank side plot of land is located at the town
of Riba Roja and is an ideal central place to fish both the upper
and middle stretches of the river Ebro and the dam at Riba Roja.

Species available include common carp, mirror carp,
crucian ca
rp, bass, trout, rudd and zander.

The river Ebro is also home to some of the largest Wells
catfish in Europe with specimens in excess of 200lb being
caught in recent years.

Length : 910 km
Basin area : 85,362 km², some 17% of Spain's surface area
(445 Km2 in Andorra, 502 Km2 in France, the rest in Spain )
Flow at mouth: 426 m3/s in 1994 (22% less than in 1971)
Main tributaries: Jalón, Gállego, Cinca-Segre, Aragón
